Unframed
These are my personal works — drawings that capture more than images. They are emotional imprints of lived moments — memories held not through photos, but through lines. Taking the time to draw deepens my connection to what I’ve experienced. The strokes, the effort, even the imperfections reflect my energy, emotion, and state of mind at that time. Each piece is a quiet attempt to preserve feeling and, if possible, move others through it.
Where my feet land, my hands remember
This series consists of daily postcard-sized drawings I create while on vacation. For me, it's a visual diary to preserve memories in a personal and reflective way. I usually draw one to three per day during my trip, and sometimes I give one to a friend we’ve met — a small keepsake to remember me by. These drawings were created during trips to the Philippines, along the Camino de Santiago in Spain, and throughout South Korea.
One Frame Stories
Illustration helps me process emotions tied to what I’ve lost. Rather than focusing on sadness, I use drawing as a way to transform those moments into something joyful. I enjoy adding subtle elements that expand the story within a single image — small details that invite the viewer to look closer and feel more.
Kind Lines
My goal has always been to bring joy through illustration. Drawing people who are close to me such as family, friends, or those I care about brings me the most happiness, especially when I get to share the work with them.
Loop It Again
I enjoy collecting my drawing process and reusing the illustrations to transform them into video. It’s a way of giving the artwork a new presence and bringing playful energy into a perfectly looping moment.
24-Hour Comic Challenge
4 panels per page, 24 pages in 24 hours. The 24-Hour Comic Challenge takes place every year in Winterthur. This year will be my sixth time participating, and once again, I aim to complete it. The challenge gives me focused time to bring story ideas to paper. For me, it’s more than just a comic — I also see it as a storyboard for future animation projects.
From Nobody to somebody
A young explorer is searching for a giant tree, but something is lurking in the shadows.
Yeogi & Jeogi (here and there)
A young man struggles with his identity and slowly loses his sense of self.
Loop Lab
“Akosiloy” is Filipino and means “I am Carlo.” It’s my creative playground where I explore new techniques in motion graphics. I also experiment with perfect loop animations to capture that satisfying moment.
